I began to make a wooden Buddha while seeing a manual book.This is the 6th works. I think that I make a lot of wooden Buddha and that I want to dedicate them to the temple.  |

The material is a cherry tree and camphor tree.ø60-80mm.  | 
     I cut down the center of the bottom a little. Then, stability improves.  |

I press with the paper pattern as the material, and mark it with the pen.  | 
     I cut out the part of the skin that had marked it by the graver.  |

I marks it with a paper pattern of the Buddha.  | 
     The position of the nose and the mouth is marked by using Scribing block.  |

It roughly cuts  the outline.  | 
     It has become considerably three-dimensional.  |

I mark it again by using Scribing block.  | 
     finish. It is difficult to carve the mouth.  |

I paint its eyes and lip with a pencil.  | 
     I bond the glass bead to the forehead of the Buddha. It is completion.   |
