I made smoking vessel using the electro-hot plate. The electric hot plate is what I have bought more than 30 years ago. Drawing
1.First,Remodeling of the temperature controller. Smokers are required to about 400 .
2.Cutting the stopper of dial temperature controller.
3.Cut off the handle attached to both the sides of the hot plate. A panel is attached to the temperature controller side by structure plywood of 9-mm thickness.
4.The reverse side.
5.Fixing panel in the handle of the hot plate by screw.
6.Handle of the opposite side.
7.The main materials are structure plywood with a thickness of 5.5 mm. And, a frame is the Japan cedar material of a 20-mm square.Drawing.
8.A main part is completed mostly.
9.Paste the gap tape of hard type on the inside of the door. Material is EPDM. @I think it's all right until about 100 degrees.
10.Making the knob of the door.
11.Completed.
12.Look at the inside to open the door.
13.Look from the side.

15.Exhaust port. 4 places hole of 20mm.
16.Part of the latch-lock.
17.The Thermometer. This therometer is for tempura.
18.Three stainless steel pipe for hanging meat such as fish.
19.Make a hook in stainless steel wire of 2mm.
20.It is hook folder.
21.Let's test run on outdoors. Temperature control is perfect.
22.the temperature is thermostatically controlled.
23.The commissioning in the kneaded kind and eggs to cheese that can be easily smoked. It was delicious.
24.Make a hole in the lid of a grill. Because, it is for lowering the temperature out of which smoke comes.
25.The grill which covered. Smoke came out at a low temperature.
