Wall clock-1 |
Jul. 6/2013 I made a wall clock in ipe. |
1.First, Dig the hole to put the movement. Make a template of 60mm angle for and clamp the material. |
2.Dig a hole of 26mm depth using the trimmer. |
|
3.And, Dig a spot facing 1mm in depth. |
4.Next, making the index. Hole diameter is 15mm of 15-minute increments. 5 minute increments is 10mm. |
|
5.Making the disk of 15mm in ebony. Disk of 10mm is cherry wood. Dust collection port is important in this work. |
6.Glueing together the disk and plate. |
|
7.Grinding the index with drum sander. |
8.Finish in Beads wax. I think a little more bright material is good. |
