Spot facing Jig for chair leg |
Aug. 23/2014 I made Spot facing Jig for chair leg. It uses this jig, attaching to the table of a small drill press. Drawing |
1.Material is a laminate sheet of a rubber tree, and MDF. |
2.Drilling to the MDF based on a drawing. |
|
3.Push a insert nut using vise. |
4.A positioning board is attached right-angled. |
|
5.Locating pin is inserted.A diameter is 10 mm. |
6.Insert a pin in two places. |
|
7.Connecting the board of the upper and bottom, using a hinge. |
8.Protect the hit side of an angle adjustment screw with the board using the aluminum. |
|
9.The angle of a board is adjusted with an adjustment screw. |
10.This is an adjustment bolt which sandwiches the table of a drill press. Cut a part of flange surface. |
|
11.The angle index made by 2mm PVC board. It has not indicated on a drawing. |
12.It is in the state which attached the jig to the drill press. |
|
13.This is a stopper for parallelism. The material is an aluminum plate of 3mm. |
14.An angle adjustment screw uses a M8 set screw of length 25mm so as not to intervene in a work. I will make the small chair for grandchild using this. |
