| The sheath of hatchet |
| Feb. 14/2016 I got this small hatchet from my uncle before more than 20 years. I re-formed a stem and a sheath. |
|  |  | |
| 1.Before. | 2.Completion of a stem. The material is a rosewood. I forgot to take a picture of the making process. | |
|  |  | |
| 3.Making of a sheath. Put in the plywood jig which made steps of 3mm in one side of a rosewood. And dig a slanting ditch. The bit diameter is 30m/m. | 4.Move a work with a jig, so a slanting ditch can be dug safely. | |
|  |  | |
| 5.Gluing a board of symmetricalness by the yellow glue. | 6.Make the band to suspend from hip. The material is leather of thickness 3mm. | |
|  |  | |
| 7.Attach a band on a sheath. | 8.Reverse side. | |

| It was made a short time, I think it completed beautifully comparatively. | ||
|  | ||
| Stick 1 mm of neoprene rubber on the part which the cap hits. | ||
