I made Butsudan. Butsudan is enshrine the dead of the family in the house. That's smaller than sold at a store. Drawing.
1.The material is cherry wood in USA.
2.Making a biscuit joint ditch.
3.Joint by white-glue.
4.Making a Dovetail groove.
5.A side plate has been completed.
6.Making a Dovetail of door.
7.Make an ornamental crosspiece.Mark a out line by template.
8.Use a scroll saw.
9.Make the ditch of door to install a hinge.
10.Make the ditch of side-plate to install a hinge.
11.Lock mechanism of the door. At the top of the back side and the door of the top plate embeds a neodymium magnet with a diameter of 5mm.
12.Handle of the slide table. Knob is not mounting. Cut the groove of 4mm width on the back side of the table.
13.This is the knob of the drawer and door.Material is rosewood.
14.Drawer. Dovetail groove is processed by using a jig of Vermont American.
15.Oil finish.
16.Make coated beeswax after oil has dried.
17.This is a bell stand.The material is iron wood.
18.This is a stand type bell rod.
Closed the door.
Rock at the time of closing the door is a little weak. I think that install neodymium magnet on the lower side of the door.
The height of the drawer is 39mm, but can be fully accommodated.
Slide table moves smoothly.
A Honzon enshrined and decorated in the Buddhist altar is called "Gohonzonsama" in Shingon.
