| Trangia alcohol burner lid remodel |
| Aug. 12/2018 I bought a Trangia alcohol burner. The lid knob of it is small and I seems get a burn when extinguished of burner. I extended the knob there. |
| | | |
| 1.This is the standard lid and the right lug is the knob. | 2.Use the double clip for the extension knob. | |
| | | |
| 3.Cut the clip in half with the diamond cutter. | 4.Mark the position to cut. | |
| | | |
| 5.Cut the marked position with a diamond cutter. This cutter will cut well. | 6.Drilling 2 mm for mounting to the lid. | |
| | | |
| 7.Attach the clip to the lid with a 2 mm aluminum rivet. | 8.Opened the clip. | |
| | | |
| 9.The tripod is made of aluminum. This holds the burner firmly. | 10.Becouse the knob comes out outside of tripod, I think that it is possible to extinguish safely. | |
| | | |
| 11.It fits perfectly with the Kochel of aluminum that I use all the time. | 12.The gripper fit in to there also. | |

| This kochel is off-brand but I have been using it for over 30 years. | ||

| Carry the fuel alcohol in a hip flask. Attention to misdrinking. | ||

| I bought a lock writer. But it's too big to enter Kochel. | ||
