Fast Sling Puck Game |
Jul. 25/2020 On youtube, I found a video of playing a board game with fun! Since it is a small board, there is no need to float the pack with air. I thought it would be easy to make.Drawing |
.The material is caster aralia. First, cut the two sides at a right angle with a planer. |
.Cut it to a width of 21 mm with a table saw. |
.Adjust to a thickness of 20mm with an automatic planer. |
.After cutting it to the specified size, it is processed to 45 ° using a miter sled jig. |
.Make a groove for the bottom plate with a router. The bit diameter is 15mm. |
.Since the dovetail groove is the center of the long material, it is difficult to cut it with a trimmer table. So, cut a workpiece sandwiching with timber offcut. |
.Cut the two pieces together so that the center is not offset. |
.Glue the four piece. |
.Use 5.5 mm ply wood veneer on the bottom plate. Sanding at # 400 to make it slippery. |
.Bonding the bottom plate to the frame. |
.This is the dovetail of the central divider bar. Since the width of the work pieces is narrow, make it by sandwiching it to a wasted plate with a clamp. |
.The dovetail bit is 12 x 6 mm. |
.Use a table saw to make the tunnel through which the pack passes. |
.This is the central partition. |
.Next, make a pack. Turning the rosewood 29 mm to diameter. |
.Cut the round bar with a table saw. When cutting a round bar, it is dangerous to bite the blade as the work rotates. So fix the workpiece firmly. |
.Glue the center divider and Write the center line with a magic pen. |
.The rubber hole is 3 mm. Make a 6mm counterbore so that the knot does not come out. |
.I think that it has enough strength because the bottom plate is glued, but I decided to put joint in the decoration. |
.The joint is rosewood. |
.Marking the name of the game on the laser machine. |
.A my logo mark is also engraved on the back side. |
.The logo mark is my caricature. |
.Round rubber is black. It's about 20 cm long and looks just right. |
Completion! |

It may be better to stretch the rubber a little more loosely. |
