Kung-Fu Battle

This is a unique game I found on YouTube. I made it because it seems that my 6-year-old grandson would like it.Drawing-1,Drawing-2
.The first step is to make a disc that will be the foot of a doll. On a black PVC with a thickness of 2 mm, use a rotary compass cutter to draw a line with a diameter of 29 mm.
.Drilling a 4 mm hole in the center.
.Cut out with a scroll saw.
.Tighten the cut disk with M4 screws, grasp with a 3-jaw chuck, and turning the outer circumference.
.The doll's legs are complete.
.Originally, bamboo was used as the material for the doll, but this time I used a PVC pipe. An outer diameter of 10 mm x an inner diameter of 6 mm in black and white, and a transparent pipe 6 mm x 4 mm for inserting into a 10 mm pipe.
.Cut to a specified length with handmade small table saw.
.This blade is for plastic only
.Cut PVC pipe. There is a little burr.
.Parts for the limbs of a doll. Attach a transparent pipe for reinforcement to the inside with an instant adhesive.
.Deburring the end faces.
.Drilling a 4mm hole in the body parts. The string that came from my arm passes through here.
.Line up the parts. It seems better to arrange them alternatively instead of dividing them into black and white.
.Use polyester thread with a diameter of 2 mm to connect the parts of the doll.
.To lasso knot the one ends of the polyester thread. Then, from the other side of the thread, pass through arm-arm-up torso-under torso in this order.
.Next, It passed the left and right legs and the disk of the base, and it became more like a doll.
.I thought that the doll's face unnecessary. However, he found a toy battle doll. So I removed this neck and glued a transparent PVC pipe with an outer diameter of 6 mm.
.Make the table that will be the stage of the battle. The material is plywood with a thickness of 9 mm.
.Cut the 45 degree gusset plate with a miter sled jig.
.These are the cut out parts.
.Laser engrave the letters "Kung-Fu Battle" on the top plate.
.Use woodworking bond and φ2.2×20L wood screws to assemble the stage.
.The gusset plate was a little too big and could interfere with the operation of the doll.
.The blade that the doll has is a Jananese ash with a thickness of 2.5 mm. The laser output was 3.5W 100%, the speed was 200mm/min, and the cutting was done 5 times.
.The blade part is painted with silver metallic to give the appearance of a sword. After that, the pattern portion was painted black.
.Hold the sword in the hand of a lasso-shaped doll and pass the string through the slit on the stage to ready the battle.
The doll stands up like this when you pull the string from under the stage. Please see the video for the actual battle.
