Spare blade for scroll sander |
Nov. 23/2020 I have hand made disc sanders, spindle sanders and commercial drum sanders, belt sanders. But I haven't a small sanderder to polish the details. So I made a spare blade for sanding that can be used with a scroll saw.Drawing |
1.The material is a worn-out blade of a hack saw. |
2.Fixed to the vise with the blade side of the saw blade facing up. |
|
3.Hold the upper side with pliers and make it wobble. After repeating it several times, it breaks. |
4.A saw blade split in two. |
|
5.Sanding the cut surface with a belt sander. |
6.Sanding thinly on both sides of the blade. |
|
7.I made two. |
8.Cut adhesive sandpaper to a width of 12 mm and a length of 60 mm.Then Stick it on one side of the blade. |
|
9.Fold the pasted sandpaper and glue it to the back of the blade. |
10.Use different sandpaper lengths depending on the size of the works. |

Attached to the scroll saw. So good! |
