Cutting board to enter Mestin |
Feb. 20/2022 I have been interested in mountain climbing since the fall of 2020. I'm just walking around looking forward to eating food in the mountains. So I made a cutting board that fits snugly in Mestin. Drawing |
1.The material is cypress. |
2.Make the thickness 13 mm with a planer and cut with a table saw. |
|
3.In order to protect the end of the tree and prevent warping, the crossbars are joined together. Cut the same 13mm thick material for crossbars. |
4.Dovetail groove processing on the main body side. Maximum width 1/4 inch and depth 7 mm. |
|
5.Make a tongue of cross bar with the same bit. |
6.After adhering the main body and the crossbar with yellow glue, polish the misalignment with a drum sander. |
|
7.Cut to the dimensions as shown in the drawing. |
8.Round the corners with a homemade disc sander. |
|
9.18mm drilling. A hole for your finger to remove the board from Mestin. |
10.Engrave with a 3.5W laser machine. First of all, my brand mark. |
|
11.On the other side, my name is engraved with the same design as the Mestin handle case. |
12.Dovetail groove part. |
|
Finished by applying perilla oil. |

When the perilla oil is dried, it has a unique scent of cypress and it feels like. |
