Miniature table tennis racket |
Apr.5/2025 I started playing large ball table tennis in November 2024. I've played hard ball for a few years, but this is my first time playing large ball. My table tennis friends are mostly the same age as me, so it's nice to be able to practice in a friendly atmosphere. So I made a cute miniature racket to attach to the table tennis bag.Drawing |

1.The racket body is made of 2mm thick plywood. I drew a miniature version of my favorite racket, the Ma Lin Extra Offensive, in CAD, converted it into an SVG file, and cut it with a laser machine. |
2.The grip is made from 2mm thick rosewood, which was cut with a laser machine just like the main body. |

3.Glue the main body and the grip. |
4.Paint it with urethane. |

5.I decided to use an old table tennis rubber that I had re-strung. I tried to cut it with a laser machine, but it was burned and I couldn't cut it properly. |
6.I had no choice but to cut the rubber into a square shape slightly larger than my racket. |

7.Glued with G17 glue. Red back side. |
8.The black surface is glued in the same way. |

9.Since the bumpy surface is on the inside, it is not a large ball table tennis racket but a hard rubber one. |
10.Drill a 1mm hole to attach a small round hook. |

Attach the round loop hook and strap string and it's complete. |
