Kitchen Counter

Jan. 30/2000
I was asked from the daughter and made a kitchen counter.
( My daughter asked me to make an "L" shaped kitchen counter.)
It is doing L letterform. The table used 2*10 and 2*8. The others used pine compilation.(?)
(The table was built using pine 2X10's and 2X8's)
Because the pine material was expensive, the total cost had become 25,000 yen, too.
(Because pine is expensive, the total cost was 25,000 yen!)
I laid out money most in former work.(?)
However, it had become simple in the opinion of the daughter.
It is unsatisfactory for me a little.
I wanted to make a drawer and a door.
( My daughter informed me it was too simple a design,so I added a drawer and a door.)

The drawing

In the work to join a table to, it used dowel.
However, a plane didn't come out and was troubled.
I want an exclusive use jig tool like the biscuit joint.
The other work is simple.
It polishes in #300, it drives in dowel next and it glues together it.
As for the completing, it painted watoco twice.
It had become a finish like always because the dark color was a taste about me.

It is a drawer with the caster. Saying that it is convenient to put a rice chest [It speaks a wife.]
