Dec. 30/2004 I made Disk Sander Jig for the Wood-lathe. My workshop is small. However, the power tools are increases. I worried about whether I let's buy a belt and Disk-sander.Therefore, I decided to use the lathe in sander. |

1.The sandpaper decided to adopt the 155 mm diameter which it is possible to buy in Homecenter nearby. It enters by five sheets and it is 380yen.I chose attachment with the magic tape. |
2.I uses building board with 12 mm thickness for the disk. First, I cuts it out circularly in band saw. |

3.I considers as the structure of holding a disk in a bantam chack. The seat of ø65mm, a depth of 10mm, and 15 angles is processed into a boss portion with a lathe. Material is using the chestnut tree. |
4.I glues together a disk and a boss with the glue. When not fastening up tightly by the vice, it doesn't stick with the boss and a right angle does not come out. |

6.If the gluing completes, it turning the outskirts of the disk. An outer diameter is ø152mm. |

8.I does an urethane coat to the surface of the disk before setting up a sheet. Then, it glues together well. I stick a Magic sheet on the surface of a disk. |

9.It is the eraser of the sandpaper.It removes the resin and the dust, and it extends the lifetime of the disk. |
10.I thinks that the convenience is good. Next time, I wants to make the table which can change an angle. |
