Beer Mug & Tray
I made beer Mug presented to the brother-in-law.
Also, I made a tray with Japanese ash to have gotten from my friend Mr.Hiraga.
1.Acacia is gripped by four fingernail scroll chuck. And, I finished up to get rough. Of course,I use roughing gouge.
2.I exchanges it from 4 fingernails chuck to bantam chuck of Akisminstar. The ditch is cut in the part that becomes bottom. The purpose is for the wound of chuck to do in an unostentatious manner at the grip.
3.I chucking a work opposite. A nail is included in the part at the ditch. I drilling ø15 mm with the drill.
4.I drilling it using fosnar bit of 25mm, 35mm, and 50mm. Last, I turned the part which becomes a inside in bowl gouge and square scraper.
5.I sanding the inside of cup. I used sandpapers #180, #240, #320.
6.I repeated an urethane coat five times. 70mm Dia * 160mm Tall.
7.I made two. 70mm Dia * 150mm Tall.
8.These are Japanese ash.
9.I cuts at the 165mm disk in band saw. By that the scrolling chuck of 4 nail. I turning the 110 mm diameter depth of 3 mm in the bottom.
10.I exchanges at the bantam chuck. and chuck an hollow .
11.I turn in tray -shape by bowl gouge and the square scraper.
12.Finish used the teak oil. 160mm Dia * 32mm Tall.
