May 28/2006 Wooden Spoon I have a lot of junk wood. I effectively used it for the spoon. |
1.First The center of the spoons width (not depth) is located and marked. The material is beech.45mm*27mm |
2.It was gripped by drive center and tailstock. |
|
3.I turn this outside in roughing gouge. |
4.I used skew lastly. The handle has been sanded on the lathe. I only take the grit down to #220. |
|
5.I install the disk Sanda jig in the lathe, and grind the bowl part. |
6.I use a miniature router after it almost cuts it with the chisel and am as for the bowl. |
|
7.I use Korean Perilla to finish. |
8.Time hangs in the bowl making when it is a method of using the router. Therefore, I made the part of the ball a globular shape. |
|
9.Next, I made jig that I chuck a bowl.I lightly with the tree hammer drum the part which becomes a bowl. |
10.I pull out the inside in the hollowing. |
|
11.I think that it can mass-produce the spoon by this method. |
12.It is convenient with a globular gauge. I made with aluminum plate. |
|
13.I made a sugar pot with the tree of the chestnut. |
14.Top of pot becomes the handle of the spoon. |
