Dec. 10/2006 Finger Tops I challenged classic woodturning. It is Finger Tops. |
1.First, I made the finger top that stand on one's head.I reduce material to the globular.The axis goes out a little.And I pull out a globular inside,about 2/3. |
2.I exchange chuck. And, I paints on a globular part. It seems to be an eyeball. |
|
3.It stood on one's head easily when I turned the top. I have the memory which played in the childhood with this. |
4.Second, I made a finger top of the European style.I put the pattern with chatter tool of making by oneself. |
|
5.I undercoat in white. After it dries, I sanding it again. |
6.I paints vividly in red, yellow, green and blue. This process lower a turn. |
|
7.I turns inside out and I paints it. |
8.I used a water enamel coating. |
|
I think that the design of the finger tops is difficult.I will challenge a new design. |
