Aug. 12/2007 The Nut Cracker I bought the threading set of Beall tool Co.. I made a use nutcracker in it. |
1.The material is beech. make the cylinder that makes the hole of 40mm for 60mm~60mmL from the lathe.Next, I'm drilling the hole in the under with fosner bit attached to the threading set. |
2.Tapping.W3/4*16dpi. |

3.It cuts beautifully. |
4.I exchanged the collet of the trimmer in ø6.35mm. |

5.Special bit. |
6.I use insertion for the centering and I set a trimmer at the center of jig. |

7.Jig is placed between the stock vice of the workbench. |
8.The point of the bit is put out about 0.8mm more deeply than the valley of the screw. |

9.I insert a 19 mm stick. It become a screw when turning while pushing lightly. |
10.The screw is beautiful. I think it is better than the die. |

11.Because I had wanted to cut the screw in the root of the knob, the thread part and the knob were divided. |
12.The right of the photograph is the knob which glued together a screw part in the insertion.I painted sesame oil. |

I attempted to break a walnut.I think that it is nice to touch.The threading set is a good item.
