1.I reformed the base of the slide table.The previous base was SPF material.This is hardwood. The T slot bar of aluminum is embedded in the base.

2.The slide table moves smoothly.I think that a good work is finished.

3.I ditch it to 24 places around by installing the slide table in the lathe, and using a triangular bit of 90 degree.

4.The black one is ebony. The white is bonding of the ebony of 1.5mm to cherry wood. I think that the gluing had better divide the top and the bottom into twice.I turned it after dry.

5.Next, I make a lid.I exchange to the button-jaw. and I turned face of lid. Because I put a spiral pattern in the knob, I put a ø6mm cherry wood in the center of the knob.After that, I set a slide tables diagonally and I dig a ditch.I glue together three pieces of inlay,and I shave it.I repeat three times.

6.It was completed. Eyes seem to turn if the knob is seen.Beeswax finish.200mm Dia * 150mm Tall.
