Nov. 18/2012 The Pendant. I made a pendant of parquetry. I'm going to present it to grandchild. |
1.The material is a cherry tree, ebony, rosewood. Cutting it in the 6mm thickness by band saw. |
2.Sanding it in a thickness to 5mm by dram-sander. The dram-sander is a convenient power tool. |

3.Cutting it in the 60mm width by table-saw. |
4.The board is one set at four sheets. They are for seven pendant. |

5.Making a waste board. Cutting it in the 100mm*60mm*15mm by band-saw. |
6.Gluing together things for two sets at once. Don't glue the center. |

7.Remove Joe of chuck by two sheets, and chucking waste board diagonally. |
8.Turn it using bowl gouge. |
|
9.Turning the waste board slender by using parting tool. |
10.Grasp waste board once more on shift. and, make a hole which lets through a string. |

11.The beeswax finish. The right is 50mm at the 30mm diameter in the left. |
12.Make a striped board with the remaining board. |
|
13.Sanding it by dram-sander. |
14.I drew the image figure about the position into which a striped board is put. |

15.How do you think about this?. |
16.This is the leather to have gotten from the friend. I think that I will make a string with this. |
