Jan. 05/2005 Natural Edge I challenge in a Natural Edge. I made a small glass because I didn't have big material. |

| 1.I got camphor tree and Podocarpus of the live tree from the friend in the neighborhood. Also, I bought the log of acacia from the IKEDA timber shop in Hokkaidou. I makes goblet which has the natural edge, which had an interest from before with the material in them. | 2.First, I turning from a camphor tree. | |

| 3.I turning for the first time at the live tree. It is possible to shave it feeling well. I seem improved at playing go. The scent of a camphor tree is good. | 4.Next, I use podocarpus. It was planting this podocarpus in the windbreak around the pear yard in the neighborhood. I got when felling it. | |

| 5.I think that feeling is very good which convey from gouge. The bark is smooth, being white. | 6.In the last, it is acacia. This, too, can do turning feeling well. | |

| 7.The contrast with the dark brown of the heartwood is good. | 8.It is a small glass but it has an create an atmosphere of the natural edge. I intends to paint urethane after dry up. | |
