Feb. 19/2017 Parquet strap-1. I made a strap combining different color wood. Use ebony, rosewood, cherry blossom, bubingga for the material. |

1.Cutting the lumber to 13 mm thick. |
2.Next, using a home-made ripping jig, cut to the 3 mm thick thin plate. |

4.Fixing with yellow-glue. The grip portion uses SPF. |

5.Upper is ebony,cherry,rosewood combinations of bubinga. Lower is ebony,cherry,rosewood combinations of cherry. |
6.Cut to 13 mm square with a band saw. |

7.Chucking with a small double tail jaw of 25 mm. |
8.Turning the tip of SPF. |

9.Gripping reverse. Then turning the main body with pushing at the rotation center. |
10.After sanding at # 240, # 320, finish with # 0000 steel wool. |

11.Cutting off the grip part. Then drilling 1.5 mm for eye bolt. |
12.Dipping it in the perilla oil, and buff finish after drying. |

Screw the extremely small eye bolt. |

Attached the strap cord and it is completed. |
