Dec. 24/2017 Smartphone Stand I made a Smartphone Stand. I showed this stand to my children. The children said that this stand is not practical. Because, there is no hole of the power cord and speaker attachedin this stand . |

1.The material is beech. |
2.When using the vacuum chuck, press the center of the work with tail stock. |

3.Marking a circle with a diameter of 84 mm. |
4.Shaving down to a depth of 3 mm, make a grip margin. |

5.Grasp the work with the scroll chuck. |
6.Turning. |

7.This is a jig for cutting grooves in the base. |
8.Final turning for the jig. |

9.Put the base part in the jig and cut the groove. Bit is 3/8 inch spherical type. |
10.Next make a stand part. First, paste the pattern out onto an aluminum plate 1 mm thick. Then cut with yarn sawing machine and make a template. |

11.Mark the beech wood using the template. Then cut with fret saw. |
12.Drill two holes of 5 mm using the hole drilling jig for the leg. |

|
13.This jig can be used for stands with different shapes. |
14.Drill holes in the base part with another jig. |
|
 |

Fix the base part and the stand part using bamboo pins with 5 mm outer diameter. |
||
 |
||
Finish with perilla oil. |
