Salad Bowl

My granddaughter asked me to make a small salad bowl. I hadn't been woodturning for a long time, so I was a little worried if his arm was dull, but I managed to make a decent bowl.
1.The shape of the bowl is suddenly formed, but the material is cedar wood with heather.
2.Cut 24 grooves with a 90 degree bit to inlay around the bowl. How to use this attachment click here.
3.The inlay is the red oak that I made before and the red oak wrapped in beech. Cut this to a length of 12 mm with a small table saw made by yourself.
4.24 cut pieces.
5.Yellow glue was used as the adhesive to provide water resistance.
6.After gluing half a lap, leave it for about 3 hours, then glue the other half lap and leave it for a day.
7.Turned the next day and almost completed.
8.Invert the work and grip it with a vacuum chuck.
9.Seen from the inside, it looks like this. How to make a vacuum chuck Click here.
10.Engraved the brand mark with FABOOL laser mini.
11.This is the engraving.
12.Finish with a urethane "Kigatame ace". This paint is highly water resistant, so I think it's perfect for chopsticks and tableware.
I think the bowl looks good.
It might have been better to lengthen the inlay to the bottom.

Next,remodeling the trimmer attachment.
1.One leg that supports the attachment is attached to the end, so depending on the angle of the groove, it may the leg stick out of the table on which the woodworking lathe is placed.
2.Then, in order to move the legs inward, Drilling a 5mm pilot hole for M6 inside the attachment body.
3.Tapping M6.
4.Move the legs to complete the remodeling. This should widen the angle adjustment range of the inlay.
