Small triangular bowl

The triangular bowl I made in 2015 is the one that appears most often on my family's dining table. I made a smaller version of it that can serve a small amount of food like a small plate.
.The material is 85mm square beech wood, which is cut to a length of 85mm and processed into a rectangular prism.
.One point of the apex is cut off and processed so that it can be pushed by the rotation center of the tailstock.
.In this way, use an awl to make a depression where the peak was.
.Grab it with a three-jaw chuck and press it with the tailstock to secure it.
.Turn the outside to make a grip and cut.
.It will have a shape like this.
.Since the gripping area would get scratched if it was grabbed directly, a protective ring was made by bending a 0.6 mm thick tin plate into a circle.
.Insert a protective ring and hold with a Bantam chuck.
.Press the opposite vertex with the turning center and begin turning.
.Continue turning until the thickness is about 4mm. It is important to regularly sharpen the gouge to keep it sharp.
.Mark the center point on the leg with a center marker.
.While pressing the center marker with the tail stock, grasp it with the vacuum chuck.
.Turning the back of the leg.
.Engrav the logo mark with a laser machine.
.It includes an illustration of my face.
.Finished by applying ``KIGATAME Ace'' three times.
I made two.
Comparison with the bowl made in 2015. The blank in 2015 was a 110mm rectangular prism, while this one is an 85mm rectangular prism.
