Mushroom BOX

I made the box of use mushroom in beech and acacia.
I uses a threading- jig after a long time.
1.I bond beech and make the rectangular lumber. I used a water-proof, high yellow glue for the bonding material.
2.I cuts down up to the size in which the drive center can be gripped by use Bantam-chuck. It is unquestionable for chucking though two remains.
3.I make the part that changes for Bantam-chuck and becomes the stalk of the mushroom. The point is a part that becomes a male thread.
4.I set handmade threading jig in tool rest. Next, I install chuck in the jig with work gripped. It is done to main spindle of the lathe that the cutlery of handmade is installed.The instant adhesive is painted on the part where the screw is cut beforehand. Then, the screw head doesn't crack.threading jig
5.Next, I makes the part of the umbrella. and makes a under hole ø25m/m in fosnerbit.
6.I turn roughly by the image of the umbrella.I painted watoc oil the part which cuts a screw because the instant adhesive had passed away.
7.I cuts a female screw. A screw is beautifully.I thinks that oil, too, is good.
8.I screw in its stalk in the umbrella. and, the bottom of the stalk is cut. Afterwards, the part of the umbrella is cut.
9.To cut down the part of the umbrella, chucking has the stalk. I made the sleeve for that.
10.I cut the umbrella with small Spindolgauge, and polish with the sandpaper of # 180,# 240, and # 320.
11.Probably, the balance is bad.I thinks for the stem to be too long.Therefore, I cut a stem short.
12.It is completion. Next, oil finish.
13.I thinks that it puts an inner lid and that it will make it condiment pot.
14.I was in the finish using Korean perilla. I will make various mushroom in the future. 70mm dia * 90mm tall.
