The material of a bowl is the cherry tree got from the friend. At first, rotation of a lathe is lowered and the outside is rough-turning. And the hole for inserting chuck is deleted. It is I.D50mm, and 8mm depth. Second, I attached collet chuck in a lathe, chuck is put into the hole of a bowl and a bowl is turned as it is, chuck opens and it can fix firmly. I turning it, pushing the center of a bowl. Wood: cherry-wood. 155mm Dia * 75mm Tall. with tung oil Finishing oil. I think that this collet chuck is cheap, however convenient. | [Page11] |
